The Georgia National Guard’s Youth Challenge Academy chose the Boland Building as the site for their work with at-risk youth. Sheridan won the proposal along with Dunwody/Beeland Architects, Inc. to commence major design work.

Time and budget were always in the forefront of design considerations. Our original construction schedule was estimated at eight months. We were able to start demolition early while the design effort was still underway. By the time we finished design and arrived at the guaranteed maximum price, demolition was complete, and we were ready to start rebuilding. As a result, we were able to reach material completion in three months.
