Sheridan Construction was selected to provide a comprehensive renovation of the Lettie Pate Whitehead Evans Administration Building at the Georgia Institute of Technology that included a primary focus on life safety and accessibility. The building’s mechanical and electrical infrastructure were updated to improve energy efficiency. In addition to establishing shared program elements at the building’s core, a new stairwell was added, an asbestos abatement was done, a new sprinkler system was added, and an elevator was installed to serve from the ground to the fourth floor.
